Portsmouth named host of The Ocean Race Europe 2025

The city of Portsmouth has been announced as the UK host for The Ocean Race Europe 2025.

This historic offshore around the world race was first held in 1973 as the Whitbread Round the World Race which started and finished in Portsmouth.

Starting on Sunday 10 August in Kiel, Germany the mixed male and female crews of the IMOCA fleet will race thought the Baltic Sea and North Sea into the English Channel and are expected in Portsmouth on the 14th or 15 August.

Why not charter King’s Ransom our Jeanneau Prestige 46 which can accommodate 12 people plus 2 crew.  The panoramic flybridge is perfect for watching racing action out on the Solent.   This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close to the IMOCA class boats which are at the cutting edge of technology and innovation for offshore racing with sailors who are among the best in the world for their sport.
