Solent Boat Trip with lunch at The Folly Inn East Cowes

A warm summer’s day, a group of adventurous men, and a charter boat cruising through the picturesque Solent – this is the backdrop for our most recent charter.   With the scenic Solent as their playground, the group embarked on a journey that would take them to The Folly Inn for a sumptuous lunch and then on to a calm bay near Bembridge for an invigorating swim.  The excited group enjoyed panoramic views of the Solent’s sparkling waters from the comfort of King’s Ransom’s flybridge

Arriving at their first destination – The Folly Inn. Situated along the water’s edge, this charming waterfront pub is renowned for its mouthwatering cuisine and laid-back ambiance. The group made their way to the outdoor seating area, where they were treated to stunning views of the Solent.

The Folly Inn’s menu boasted an array of tempting dishes, ranging from freshly caught seafood to hearty pub favourites.

Having satisfied their appetites, the group’s next stop was a secluded bay known for its tranquil waters and scenic surroundings. The captain skillfully anchored the boat, and the men eagerly prepared to dive into the inviting blue waters for a refreshing swim. The bay’s calm clear sea presented the perfect opportunity to cool off, and the group seized the moment, leaping off the back of the boat with infectious enthusiasm.

Then was back on board to enjoy the return journey to Haslar Marina, where the group bid farewell vowing to return next year.
